Wow, the highlights on the org..anoid?'s neck look all perdy, makes it seem warm. Lovely colouring, the detail on the rock face scares me. How'd you do it so well (mine turn out like scribbles)

Photo references are a must to get the concept for the rock. While I didn't use any one image directly, I had 6 or 7 images of rock walls and soaked up what they had to say.

I'm extremely skittish on my background skills, but there's no way around having or using them if you want to make complete scenes. Mine turned out like scribbles also until I 1) practiced a bit and 2) used some reference. So I strongly and heartily encourage you to do the same.

Also--not an organoid, it's the Geno Breaker Psychosis featured throughout the comic. Her name is Opus Magnum.
