It takes anywhere from about 4-11 hours... any longer and I tend to lose interest. x_X Like I did with that^ pic. It's somewhere in the range of 9-10 hours.
And ... ahh, this is all purely digital painting stuff >_> there is no lineart or anything "before coloring" ... the closest I have is this WIP version: [link] from when I'd basically figured out the poses and composition.
